16" B-B - Ranch/Roping saddle

This saddle was built on the 16.5" tree but finished is a 16" hard seat, 4 1/2" rawhide bound cantle, post horn with new leather dally wrap, 6 new long leather ties, 6 1/2" gullet, SQH bars, rawhide wrapped association tree, 7/8 in-skirt rigging, new 5 1/2" angled aluminum stirrups (these are so so so nice!), new half breed off billet, new latigo, new back cinch, new front cinch, fleece is in great shape, and weight is around 40lbs.

Ok folks. There is a lot of saddles that come through my shop. But some take your breath away. All my Idaho clients should love this rig. Built by Shawn Schild out of Blackfoot, Idaho. Shawn, dang you built a beautiful saddle. This saddle is going to be any rancher’s dream saddle. This saddle is made to spend long days in and drag some monsters if needed. And, to prove these saddles were made to last forever; the saddle posted was built in 1990! This saddle is ready to get to work and last forever!

Just to note - There a few India made saddles trying to use these talented saddle makers reputations. When doing your research, if needed (or we did it for you with all the information stated above) make sure to note how they branded the saddle. The maker is named by the serial. There was 3 Schild’s that built saddles and one of their names will be branded by the serial. This is a genuine and a true find!
