Fish is the kind of horse everyone is searching for. He’s been one of our “go to” horses for the last 4 years and we’ve used him for everything.

He’s very gentle and fits a large variety of riders. He’s even gentle enough for your pawpaw. He is a prime age gelding that is gorgeous to boot. He has a great personality and is easy to get along with. He’s really broke with lots of handle. He’s soft in the face, moves off your leg, turns around, side passes, picks up his leads, lopes circles and has a great stop.



He’s a tried and true ranch horse that you can call on for any and every job you need to do on the ranch. He is definitely all that and a bag of chips. He has tons of heart and plenty of motor when you need to ask for it. Gather your stock on him first thing in the morning then head to the branding pen and drag calves on him. He’s been used in the wheat pasture and is great to rope and doctor cows. You can sort and strip pairs on him. You can pony and halter break colts on him. You can let your youth kids use him on the ranch to help.



We’ve also used him to pickup broncs at rodeos. He’s been used to flag ropings. We’ve used him to sort and move stock in the back pens at rodeos.



Don’t have a ranch? No problem. Fish is also a steady Eddie trail horse that will work for anyone looking for a trail buddy. You can literally ride him anywhere. He’s been ridden in the Colorado and Kiamichi mountains and the Palo Duro Canton. He’ll ride out alone perfectly fine. Or he’s comfortable in a big group. He’s like a mountain goat maneuvering rough country. He goes up and down hills like a pro. He goes through the water without batting an eye. He’s safe riding down the country road or the highway. We even ride him into town to the donut store. He’s been ridden around dogs, bicycles, ATV’s, tractors, traffic, strollers and not bothered by any of it. He’s been ridden as an outrider behind a horse drawn wagon.



Fish is definitely one that would be an asset to anyone that’s looking for a ranch or trail horse. We love this horse and are looking for the best home for him. We have several young horses coming up that we need to finish out and that’s the only reason he’s for sale.
