Description:
Cowboy is a gorgeous dapple grey gelding with a jet black mane and tail. He has a big kind eye and really wants to please. He has been roped off of and has done just about every chore on the ranch. He is great at sorting and won’t let one get by him. We really think this gelding would excel in the breakaway or calf roping pen. He has performance horse written all over him. He wants to ride around and is very quick footed. Cowboy is soft in the face and picks up both leads with ease. He has a huge ground crushing stop that he is always hunting for. He has a lot of run with a lot of stop which is why he would really shine in the breakaway or calf roping. He rides off of your seat and has a ton of feel. He has a one hand neckrein and backs up nicely. You can ride him down the trails with no problem. He is happy to be the lead horse or in the back. It doesn’t matter. He isn’t spooky about traffic, and he will cross any bridge or water you point him to. He will go all day long and never quit you. He is a true work horse with a ton of grit and try. He is sound. Vet checks are welcome prior to the auction closing.
