I kid you not, this kind soul was born as an old man in a horse body. We have never had one quite like him, his nonchalant nature keeps us questioning if he ever has any “normal” horse thoughts! Even when he was caught in the crossfire of a heated dodgeball game, he never batted an eye, despite being pelted on both sides! For the last 2 years he’s been cracking us up with his unassuming ways and dry sense of humor. Not to mention there’s been absolutely no part of our program that he hasn’t passed with flying colors! He makes us look good since he’s so easy. Not only does Hashbrown have an unmatched disposition but he has the color, conformation, and movement to go with it! In the real world he’s been used to check the cows and drag calves to the fire, he handles himself with complete composure around the bawling babies and mad mamas! For fun he enjoys strolling down the trails, pulling the tube down the river or going to a show, there’s not a place you can take him that he won’t adjust to immediately. Although his favorite gear is slow, he has an awesome jog, he can step out for a ground covering trot, and he has a great lope! Hashbrown is happy to go as fast or slow as you ask, and he’s easy to operate. In fact, everything is easy with him; he’s easy to catch, handle, maintain, load, clip, bathe and shoe. Overall, he’s easy to love! One of our favorite features about him is how independent and carefree he is! His ‘herd’ instinct is nearly nonexistent. He could care less about where other horses are, what they’re doing, or where they’re going. He simply sees no good reason to worry. If daily riding is not in the cards for your current lifestyle, Hashbrown is completely fine with that. Although he loves all the attention you give him, he understands if you get busy. We have given him months off and have no reservations about climbing right on, he never misses a beat. There’s absolutely no nonsense with him! Bottomline - Hashbrown has all the fixings to be your next main mount. We are so pleased to offer him and we know once you meet him you’ll understand why we adore him so much!
