Description:
Hello, I am a 30 year old female looking for a full-time position with housing beginning immediately or in Spring 2024. Looking for a position in breeding/foaling, ranch management, loping in the performance horse industry, cow/calf operation or wrangling. 



Graduated from the College of Agriculture at California State University, Chico in 2017 with a bachelors degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Beef Management. 



My equine experience includes 22 years of riding, 3 years of breeding/foaling (including the Thoroughbred industry, quarter horses, miniatures and shetland ponies), starting colts from the ground up, guiding dude rides, and riding green horses as well as finished performance horses (cutters, reiners, team ropers, barrel horses), doctoring horses, and more. The majority of my riding experience is riding western, but can ride English effectively as well. 



My cattle experience includes branding, vaccinating, feeding, sorting, doctoring, record keeping, fixing fence, and quietly working cattle. I am decent with a rope but definitely could use more practice. I would love a chance to learn more about calving, how cow-calf operations work, and/or all aspects of ranching. 



I can operate tractors, skid-steers, and backhoes. Other heavy equipment that I am unfamiliar with, I am able to learn quickly. I am also comfortable hauling livestock/horse trailers. Proficient at driving manual transmission vehicles. Some experience with flood/hand line irrigation. 



I am a well rounded individual who works well alone or in a group setting. I pride myself on my professional and friendly communication skills, work ethic, horsemanship skills, and attention to detail.



I am willing to relocate anywhere as long as housing is provided. I have a well-behaved, house broke Border Collie that would need to come with me. Option to have one or more horses in the future is desired.
