Description:
COME LIVE, WORK AND PLAY IN THE BEAUTIFUL KODACHROME BASIN STATE PARK, UTAH! COUPLE with RVIA certified RV needed with verifiable Wrangler experience for our Kodachrome Trail Rides.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Wrangler:

• Lead trail rides in the State Park

• Care and feed 10 to 12 horses

• Tack maintenance and minor repairs

• Identify and report to Ranch Manager any equestrian medical issues

• Able to lift 50 lbs

• Ferrier experience welcome but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Wrangler Assistant/Booking Receptionist:

• Booking the walk-in horse rides at the corral’s office

• Greeting the riders

• Helping with daily operations at the day corral

• Assisting with riders’ orientation at beginning of rides (not mandatory)

SCHEDULE:

• WEEKENDS MANDATORY

• 5 DAYS A WEEK with 2 consecutive days off

• 8 hrs. a day for the Wrangler, 7 hrs. a day for the Wrangler Assistant

• SEASON is APRIL 1st 2024 through OCTOBER 31st 2024

• Preferably arrive a few days prior as need to be ready to lead horseback rides April 1st

PERKS and the AREA:

• NEW FHU RV SITE is in the State Park.

• Propane is provided.

• RV Site is private and quiet, away from the campers with great views of the Red Rocks.

• You will be living in a designated Dark Sky Park.

• Park is off of Utah Route 12, a designated scenic All American Road.

• Bryce NP is 40 minutes away and the Grand staircase National Monument is nearby.

• Small grocery store and several restaurants 20 minutes away in Tropic.

• Larger grocery store with deli 1 hr. away in Panquitch.

• Big Box Stores are approximately 2 hrs. away in Ceder City or Richfield.

Both Positions are Salaried plus tips. Salary depends on experience; to be discussed at interview.
