Based in Southwest Missouri, The Rockin P Ranch is prominently involved in the cattle feeding industry. Striving to produce quality beef, the ranch focuses on herd health and rate of gain. The ranch is continuing to grow and is looking to add more members to our team. We are looking for a self-starting able-bodied person to take on tasks as an individual and as a team. A qualifying candidate would be able, but not limited to, running larger equipment such as tractors, loaders, and roto mix trucks (Being mechanically inclined and maintenance/cleanliness oriented is meaningful). 95% of all our cattle work is done horseback, so an individual would need to be comfortable riding a horse to identify and treat sick cattle and to sort and ship/receive cattle. All cattle are processed on site, and we hold cattle in a small feedyard as well as start cattle on grass and wheat. This is a family operation that is growing quickly and is seeking a long-term individual that can grow with us. Housing and company vehicle is provided. Pay is DOE. Company horses can be provided, and employee-owned horse are encouraged. Due to our accommodations at this time, we are looking for applicants to be single and male.
