“Porckchop” is a 6 Year old 15.1 hand bay gelding that identifies as a big Labrador, porky is a very gentle and honest kinda guy, if your looking for an exceptional gelding to go hit the trails on, he’s your man ! Aside from being a wonderful trail mount, porky rides well in the arena and will walk, jog, and lope with ease. He has a nice light neckrein and is soft in the face, stops on whoa, and really aims to please whatever is asked of him. Porky is very docile and loves people, he’s very in your pocket and genuinely enjoys being petted on. Porky stands to be tacked, mounted ect, goes over under and through obstacles, very brave on the trails and travels wherever he is directed. Porky has wonderful stall manners but is also a gentleman to catch out in the big open field. We’ve rode porky to check fence, weekend trail rides, and he’s even spent some time toting lesson kids around. What sets porky aside from just being a “ole trail horse” porky has very correct confirmation, good solid hooves, and is a very fancy mover, he has an eye appealing jog to him and has floaty movement that catches anyone’s eye ! There’s no hill to big or small porky will climb em all. One thing I love about pork chop is he stays broke and gentle with time off, although hes young,he acts like a seasoned gentleman no many how many days a week you ride him. He spent his younger years as a prison project horse, where prisoners get a chance to break their own horse and that’s where his brands originated from, but don’t let that fool you, pork chop is no outlaw himself, he’s an upstanding citizen who aims to please his rider, you won’t find a more gentle, sweet soul than ole pork chop and I’m honored to offer such a personable horse to be someone’s next bestfriend!
