This beautiful buckskin roan gelding is 11 years old and stands a strong 15 hands. Denny is true to his name like the man from snowy rivers horse, holding all the tools a go to horse has. He is reliable, trustworthy, and will go absolutely anywhere you ask him . This horse has a kind eye and a gentle soul. Denny has had some reining training in his early years and that training stayed with him as he is always, collected and correct. He is soft faced in the bridle, responds to leg cues softly, and moves his hips and shoulders with one touch. Denny will spin both directions with ease and has great easy stop. Denny has been out in the hills and seen all the wildlife you can encounter. Deer, elk, turkeys, and wild pigs. He has doctored yearlings out in the big open pasture, branded calves in the corral, and started in the team roping pen and can go on either side of the box, heading or heeling. He is absolutely gentle for anyone. Denny will always be a safe trusting horse and one that will fit all different abilities of riders. He will slow down for the novice or pick up the pace for the advanced. Denny has been used in some ranch rodeos and also been to a few competitive sortings. You can always know you will have a blast in the saddle of Denny! This horse will walk along like an old campaigner for the beginners and then pick right up for the advanced. Denny is a great trail partner and is alway safe and sane.Danny has also been around the flag,ball and tarp with no hesitation he is an absolute dream. He will lope around bridleless and bareback. Denny is one the whole family can enjoy and know that he is one they can trust with their most precious cargo. He is great to be around clips, ties, and bathes stands for the farrier and great for the vet. Denny will be the same horse each and everyday even on the coldest mornings.
