Multi-discipline horsemanship trainer and experienced manager/team leader located in South Georgia. John and Josh Lyons Certified Trainer



Available for horse and/or rider training.

Potentially available for full/part time employment.



Life-long rider experienced in Western and English riding, backcountry big game hunting with horses, and employed as Ranch Manager on working ranch in Montana. Successful in everything from colt starting, foundation through advanced equine training, retraining, and horsemanship instruction.

Most recently employed running day-to-day for equine breeding/training program in South Georgia managing herd of 100+ head foaling 25+ a year. Training included halter/trailer breaking yearlings, starting 2 year olds under saddle, and finishing 3 year olds for use on bird hunting plantations. Responsibilities included riding stock management, breeding management, foaling, doctoring, and overall daily herd care and maintenance.

Program also included small breeding herd of Angus.
