We have a ranch position available on our family owned ranch in McDermitt, NV on the Oregon Nevada border. We are a hard working operation with a 1200 cow calf operation, lots of cowboying year round. We also put up meadow hay in the summer and would like someone who has operated farming equipment or who is willing to learn. If you are eager to learn we are also willing to teach you what you haven’t learned yet. If you are hard working and have a willing to do it all attitude you will fit right in. We are feeding cattle right now and looking for someone who isn’t afraid to kick off bales as well as work on equipment in these colder months. Housing available. We have a two-bedroom bunk house with all amenities. If you have your own horses that’s a plus, but the ranch also will provide a few horses, so you are able to get the job done. Seeking someone who can shoe their own horse, but we will teach you if not. We cover a lot of big country covered in sagebrush and rimrock but it’s the most beautiful country you will ever see.
