Description:
Denny has been in our program as one of my main using geldings for just over 6 months now. He is a stout made, big boned gelding and is made to last. Denny is solid and sound as they come. I have used him on the ranch and in the stockyards in every scenario possible. He’s had lots of experience in the stockyards sorting, opening, and closing gates and pairing up cows and calves. He doesn’t panic when he gets in a tight spot in the pens, he stays good minded. Denny has seen lots of miles on the ranch and been used in every aspect of ranch work, making him a dependable using horse or a reliable trail mount. He has roped and doctored cattle on the outside, covered lots of miles checking fence lines, prowled cattle, pulled calves and so much more. He’s been in every type of terrain possible from rough and rocky to swampy and has learned to be careful with his feet and be surefooted. This is a gelding that would also excel in the roping pen on either end and has all the necessary tools for someone to make a team roping horse out of him. Denny is well mannered and enjoys attention. He stands for the farrier, stands tied quietly and trailers well.
