Description:
Hi! My name is Zuni. I am a 16-hand tall, handsome, and stout bay and white gelding, coming 10 years old in 2024. I am looking for my forever home with someone who will take the time to get to know me and earn my trust and respect. I am an easy-going guy. My favorite gaits are walk and trot, but I will pick up the pace if you ask me to. My jog is very comfortable! I have been trail riding in the mountains for the past three years and I navigate rough terrain, steep hills, logs, water crossings and more with ease. I am brave and not easily spooked. I am good with cats, dogs, tarps, rain slickers, flags, traffic, bicycles and more. I am interested in cows! I like to do different things and may get bored if we do the same thing all the time. I am looking for a partner who is gentle and kind, but also a good leader I can trust. One person I can get to know will be best for me, rather than different people riding me all the time. I respond nicely to gentle hands and leg pressure, and to get me to go faster, riding with your seat works best! I know how to neck rein and have been ridden in hackamores and snaffles. I have a lot of potential to do many different things and a lot of good years ahead of me. Please ask my current owner Meris all your questions about me prior to bidding.
