Description:
~Elsa~

Elsa was purchased as a confidence builder for our 5yr old and she has absolutely done that.

Color: Sorrel

Registered: No

Age: 7yrs old

Height: 15 hands +/-

Gender: Mare

Coggins: Yes

Sound: She’s the exact way she looks in the video, every day.

We don’t do any Maintenence.

She’s been barefoot the whole time we’ve owned her.

If you’re a nervous buyer, I recommend you do a PPE exam with the vet of your choice.

Been used at youth rodeos, rode inside and outside the arena.

She’s not finished at anything.

But she walks, trots, stops, backs and turns left and right for a tiny kid.

She doesn’t like to lope, but she will.

Don’t ask me why, she can’t tell me.

Will I guarantee your kid can ride her just because ours does? Nope.

Will I give you your money back when your kid whines and cries for any reason? No, I’m not Walmart.

Is Elsa a finished barrel horse that’s gunna mindlessly tote your child around the barrels while they hold on for dear life?

Also, nope.

If you’re shopping for a 15,000 kid horse on a 2,000 budget, look elsewhere.

What you see is what you get.

Elsa is best suited for a kiddo that wants to sit up and ride, kick and steer and give an occasional spank with a split rein.

Or an adult that wants to trail ride, or casually ride around.

Please don’t bring an advisor that “knows everything about training horses” and expect for them to be allowed to test ride her, train on her and negatively nit pick.

She is the way she is and that’s perfect.

Again- check that budget.

Can swing a rope on her and she’s fine around the roping dummy.

If you want to know her complete family history and mothers maiden name, please move along.

She’s a grade, sorrel mare that has taken amazing care of our child.

Don’t ask ridiculous questions.

We feed our horses in to a catch pen each day and that’s how you catch her.

She does great turned out with other horses or keep her by herself.

She’s fine either way. Easy keeper.

She’s very soft in her mouth& face.

She doesn’t need much bridle.

If your kid is going to hang on her mouth and then wonder why she won’t go forward, it won’t be a good fit.

How long have we owned her?

Long enough to take a bunch of videos of a little bitty cowgirl riding her all over the place, youth rodeos and sorting cattle. 🙄

She’s never even thought about bucking or running off. We would never have had our little ride her if she were stupid.

But again, livestock has a mind of its own. Use your own judgement.

We are selling her because our 5yr old inherited another horse& I’m not going to feed them all.

Also because she has served her purpose of building confidence in our little.
