Sterling is a fancy 7 year old gelding that has had extensive training ranging from a working cow horse to a solid switchender rope horse, reining training and many miles outside on the ranch and in the mountains. Sterling stands 15.1, has solid foot and bone, a good back that a saddle rides easily and has never gotten a hump in his back or wanted to buck. He’s fancy broke with alot of feel and a big motor so I don’t think he’s suited for a novice. Sterling gives 100% at everything you ask and is easy to rope both ends on. Heading, he scores well, can really run a fast steer down, has a fancy move in his handle and faces sharp. Heeling, he stays free and hooked until you throw and has a smooth deep stop. Sterling isn’t hot or prancy outside but he’ll pack you all day through any country you need to ride in. If you’re looking for a horse to step up to the high numbers and that can handle being on the road without losing the winning edge then take a look at Sterling.
