Description:
This cute red roan gelding is a fantastic trail horse with excellent ground manners and a sweet personality. Button is 6 years old and 14.3hh, built really nicely with a big hip, cute face with little bitty ears, and that good cowboy color everyone loves. He has mainly been used out in the pasture and on the trails, riding fences, pushing cattle and sorting a few in the pens. Button has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, he is easy to catch, great for the shoer, and stands quietly tied. He has a very good one handed neck rein but will also direct rein, has a smooth trot and lope, and will walk quietly all day long if you prefer. Button is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. We have had him around dogs, carried the flag on him, ridden go karts right behind him, and nothing bothers him. He does prefer riding out in the pasture over riding in the arena, and doesn’t love loping circles but is getting better at it. Button is the right age to take in any direction you choose, and won’t take much to finish out. He gets along great with other horses, will ride out alone as well as with a group, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group while riding. He has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. He sells as GRADE. I was told he is cutting bred but that’s as much as I know. Asking $3500.
