2J Farm & her current owner, Beau, are excited to introduce you to KARAT CAKE! Karat Cake is the mystical unicorn pony everyone searches all over the country for! Everyone in our area wanted dibs on her, but she’s so special, we decided to offer her here on HorseBid. She has the mind and attitude of a big horse but the smaller size that makes it easy for children to handle her all by themselves. She will stand quietly like a little lady while a child brushes her and tacks her up. You just cannot put a price tag on your child’s safety! Karat Cake is a 12 year old beautiful golden palomino mare who stands 49” or 12.1 hands tall. She has a long platinum blonde mane and tail. Her feet are manicured and in perfect shape. This pony has been Beau’s personal pony that he competed on in junior rodeos. We got her when he was around 6 & 1/2 years old. He has ran barrels and poles on her, tied goats off her, headed and heeled the roping sled on her, shot a BB gun and a bow and arrow off her, and trail rode her all over the farm. She will fit from a lead-line rider all the way up to a more experienced rider. She is easy to catch and loves attention! She loads easily, stands for the farrier, stands tied all day, stalls easily, and doesn’t mind baths or sprays. Karat Cake would be the perfect addition to your family! Although we will be sad to see her go, we know she’s ready for her next cowboy or cowgirl to give her all the love and attention she deserves! She sells with a PPE and current Coggins from Todd County Animal Clinic which was completed by equine vet, John Laster, DVM, on 10/18/23, as well as her very own custom leather noseband halter which has our farm brand, 2J, on it, to match the brand that is on her hip.
