Description:
Casey is a cute 13.3hh, 6 year old palomino mare with a sweet personality. She is not mareish and can be hauled with, tied next to, and turned out with geldings or mares with no problems. She is gentle and willing, and a very quick learner. Casey has around 90 days of riding, and gets better with every ride. An experienced youth could easily finish her out. We have ridden her English and western, done some obstacles, ridden alongside the road, and spent many hours riding out in the pasture. Casey is not spooky, will cross water, is very sure footed, and will go through tall brush. She is good on both leads, has a decent stop, an excellent direct rein and the beginnings of a neck rein, She walks quietly down the trail with her head down, and won’t go any faster than you ask her to. Casey gets along great with other horses, will ride out alone as well as with a group, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group while riding. She is easy to catch and loves attention. Casey has always been barefoot and has good, tough feet. Her teeth and coggins were recently done. Asking $2000. Call Wendy for more information at 210-363-1883.
