6 yr old Mare



Sweet little (emphasis on little as shes only about 13.2 hands) but gritty and cowy aqha mare. Heck of a pedigree from the Fischer farms ranch. Has sat a lot last couple years so needs some wet blankets to get into everyday handy again shape. Very soft mouth so goes mostly off seat/legs, easy to catch, good to trim and load, and nice shorter strides gaits, gentle gentle on the ground and in the saddle. Once she did do a little hump and jump but nothing a little warming up didn’t solve and I honestly think it was more so the saddle didn’t fit right as she’s super short backed. Hasnt humped, jumped, crow hopped, or bucked while in the seat. She can be easy to get hot/goey when she’s fresh, way better when used consistently and use a soft/gentle hand. She is very smart so the type that might try to act a little buddy or barn sour with a new person for first couple rides and then shell be fine for ya. All things I think consistency would solve. She has never spooked let alone looked at anything, never tried to kick, or bite, or buck. Has crossed water and been used in some rough gumbo terrain. Has drug calves at branding but been a while. Be a great little using or brood mare. I think she would make a dynamite little sort or other cow event horse, mounted shooting, or continue to be a ranch horse for a small person. Located in Montana.
