Big, beautiful and true blue is what best describes this once in a lifetime mare. She is absolutely kind, safe and gentle for most anyone. The kids in your family all the way to the grandparents can enjoy her. She is stout as a house with a gorgeous head, Bambi eyes and you won’t find a prettier blue roan mare

anywhere. She is never marish and actually acts like a gelding. This girl is truly what you would call an all around horse because she’s done so many things and done them proficiently. She is fancy broke, cowy and is a blast to ride. She rides one handed with an automatic neck rein, spins, does rollbacks, moves off your leg, two tracks, side passes, stops great and backs up easily. She picks up her leads, lopes nice circles and is smooth.

Blueberry is a tried and true accomplished ranch mare. She is one that should belong to the ranch owner that wants only the best. She will be your right hand for everyday use and is ready for any task you call on her for. She will also work for the gentleman rancher that works at the bank during the week but ranches on the weekends. She is truly a ranchers best asset. Gather and pen your cows in big country or on your family farm. She is extremely cowy and you can sort pairs proficiently on her. Rope and doctor sicks on her or drag one in the trailer on her. She no stranger to the branding pen and you can drag and tag calves on her. She’s a machine in the alley loading trucks and never gets worried with cattle crowding around her. You can pony and halter break colts on her. Or pony broncs to saddle break them. She never worries about them climbing all over her. She is strong and will take them wherever you want her to. In addition to all that you can send your kid, your wife or your grandparent out to check fences on her and you don’t have to worry about them.

Blueberry has been used for ranch rodeos and is a top contender. She shines through and is a super star and has won the top horse award. She has also been competed on at Ranch Sortings and is a money earner. If you have a mid age kiddo they could use her for Junior ranch rodeos. She has been started roping the dummy and live steers out of the box. If someone wants to continue on with her in that direction she will make a high number head horse. She has the ability, speed, mind and cowiness to be worth an absolute fortune. She would also double up as a barrel horse if you wanted to take her in that direction. She would make a fantastic mounted shooting horse. We’ve already shot a gun off her multiple times. Another avenue you can go with her is drill team because she already is accustomed to carrying a flag.

Of course if trail riding is your thing Blueberry is the perfect partner in crime for that. She’s a trail riding machine and will go anywhere you point her. She will ride through anything. She’s like a mountain goat going up and down hills and ravines. She will ride through water like a dream. Crossing bridges and going over logs is no problem. She is fine tied to a picket line and will eat and drink with no issue. She’s been ridden around dogs, wagons, mules, tractors, ATV’s, bikes and doesn’t give a flip about any of it. She has been ridden down the road and is traffic safe. She’s been ridden in the busy Fort Worth Stockyards and isn’t phased by any of the chaos.

We’ve given some lessons on her. She’s very forgiving for someone that gives wrong cues or mistakes. She doesn’t get fussy. We’ve used her at events for tourists to have their picture taken with her and giving rides to people who have never even seen a horse in person before. She’s a favorite for the pictures because of her outstanding looks.

Can’t you imagine what a fancy baby she could have! Breed her to a higher end kind of stallion and no telling how fancy of a baby you will get or what it would be worth.

If you’re looking for that over the top kind of mare that you can do anything on and be safe doing it this is your girl. Blueberry is full of cowboy manners and always conducts herself like an old pro ranch horse. She does all things as she should like stand for the shoer, stand tied, bathe, tack up and load.
