Description:
Drifter is a solid black gelding and this handsome gentleman is an all-around sweetheart. Drifter is suited to all levels of rider as a trail and pleasure horse – he would excel in play days and gymkhana type events! At six years old, Drifter has been ranch roped off, used at multiple brandings, used in a feedlot, trail rode, and is gentle and calm around flags, noisy trucks, traffic, large events and so much more. This docile gelding is the “nice guy” in the crew and never has an ear pinned or a bad attitude. While he enjoys a job, he is not one to get pushy or too strong for smaller riders and has a more easy-going pace. He never balks at water crossings, bridges, or rough terrain and keeps his footing even on the ice and moving cows. Busy schedule? No problem – Drifter doesn’t get fresh with any amount of time off. This sweet gelding is sure to be an asset to any program as he can step up and be the ranch horse dad needs and slow down to take care of the kiddos that evening and at 6 years old he is the perfect age to have around to do so for a long time. He never minds a bath, ties, loads, and is great to shoe! Drifter is also up to date on all vaccinations, deworming, and dental. (Last dental app: January 2023, latest chiropractic app: October 2022) This young gelding requires no additional maintenance and has no vices such as cribbing, etc. Drifter is a sweet, smart, young gelding that is easy and fun to ride and ready for a forever home.
