Description:
Though he is small, Ricky has a big motor and can go all day. He has been used on the ranch to gather cattle, to drag calves to the fire, and in the junior high and high school rodeo arena for breakaway roping and goat tying. Ricky has no buck, bite, or kick. He is a very nice pony to be around. He is good with other horses, good for vaccines, blood draws, and deworming. He stands well for the farrier, usually kept barefoot because he has black, strong hooves. He stands well tied at the trailer, corral, or arena. He loads and unloads easily in a stock or slant load trailer, and stands and rides quietly in the trailer. He can be lead from a vehicle or four wheeler, or ponied from another horse. He is sound and requires no maintenance. Kids or adults can ride him, but he has a hard mouth so he requires a strong bit or a firm hand.
