Check out this gorgeous, one of a kind, calm, safe, and steady gelding. Phoenix has a heart of gold and his personality and disposition are second to none. He is naturally a very calm, laid back, thinking type of horse. He has a lot of bone and is conformationally balanced, and correct. He is so smooth moving and is the kind of horse you can sit on all day long. He is very versatile, well rounded, and can be ridden by all levels of riders. Before you get on, let him side pass over to a mounting block or fence to pick you up or just lay him down to make mounting no work at all! He is well adapted to miles of trails in various terrain and used to bicycles, wild game, gunfire, tarps, you name it. He lopes soft in the palm of your hand but will extend when asked. He is soft and responsive, between the reins, and will go in any direction you point him. He can be ridden in a full bridle, bridleless, or anything in between. He knows his leads, spins, rollbacks, extended trot, fast and slow circles, and stops. He has been shown in ranch versatility competitions and 4H shows. He has done breakaway, team roping, and has been used on roundups and to sort cows. Whether in the arena, on the ranch, or on the trails, he will do his best to do whatever you ask. He has no vices, is sound, and UTD on worming and farrier.
