Wow take a look at Monte! He is a true beginner pony and pretty fancy to look at too! Our grandson BraNnon has just about done everything with this pony you could imagine. He gets him out at 9 am and sometimes he stands tied til 5 pm. Monte is patient and kind. He is easy to catch. He gets along well with other horses. He ties, cross ties, and if you just wrap the lead around something he thinks he’s tied such as a baby stroller and our deck! He has good feet. Always been sound. He rides alone and is not barn or buddy sour. He will pick up all 4 feet as Brannon cleans them with every ride. He has Been sacked out, tarped, and he likes playing with the ball. Brannon likes to throw the rope off him, and he does round pen with commands. Brannon typically only walk trots, but Monte will lope if you ask him to. We have hauled Monte to many shows this year. He loads and hauls perfect, and you can put him in any tight space if you are short of trailer space like us. He’s a hit at the shows and he’s given many pony rides. He will trot with you for halter, been shown lead-line, walk trot, trail, egg and spoon and ride a buck. Monte was owned by an 8-year-old boy prior to us and he rode him in his pasture and checked cows on him. He does cross water, and you can pony him behind.
