Description:
“Boomer” is a 6-year-old QH gelding. I have all the necessary paperwork to get him AQHA registered. This is a stoic horse that has the foundation to go about any direction. He’s been used on the ranch branding, gathering, sorting and shipping calves, in a couple ranch rodeos, as well as in the arena. He is well-started on the heel side, but has the size and build to make a head horse and my plan was to build him as one (we always heel on them before heading). He’s not over-reactive, spooky or a bronc, but he does do best when he has a job and doesn’t sit for long periods. I started him under saddle and have been riding him ever since. He sticks about a half inch over 15hh and weighs 1100lbs. He is sound and has good, hard, black feet. He has clean legs other than one small cosmetic scar on the back of his right front foot. He is located in Morristown, AZ and I am happy to haul for free up to 150 miles (possibly further for a fee) or help you line up a transporter. I will board him for free for 2 weeks.
