Description:
Meet Roany, 15.3hh wears a number 2 shoe, and weighs 1,500lbs. Hancock bred; he’s stout, tough, and will go all day. He is 100% sound and has never had issues, vet checks are welcome at buyer’s expense. His conformation is excellent, with nice big feet, good hips, straight legs, and an easy keeper. Low-headed and quiet, I’ve shipped and roped over 1,000 calves on this horse, roped horses on him, and doctored lots in the pasture. He’s solid to tie off on and make a stand-up pickup horse/ranch horse. Has packed salt up into the mountains. He stands great for the farrier. Will Cross water and obstacles, works a gate. He is a fun horse to ranch on. Lopes a pretty circle and has a nice stop on him. His only vice is that he is not one you can lay off for long periods of time, for he will get fresh. Not a beginner horse. With that being said he has been flagged on in rodeos and has competed in ranch rodeos. Current on all vaccinations and has recently been floated.
