If you are just looking for a nice, quiet horse that is safe for the entire family, then take a look at Raven. He is an 8 year old gelding, coal black except for a star on his face, and with plenty of shape. He is 15 hh, with 4 black feet and a kind eye. GRADE. Raven wants to be everyone’s friend and enjoys attention, and is gentle enough that most everyone who can sit up and hold the reins could get along with him. Absolutely nothing bothers him, and he has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. He isn’t fancy broke, but he is safe and quiet, rides on a loose rein, and will go anywhere you point him. He is the perfect age to take in any direction you choose, and with his mind he could do anything you asked of him. Over logs, through tall brush, into the water, or over obstacles, he doesn’t bat an eye. Raven doesn’t need to be ridden every day to stay gentle, and his previous family had several kids who would climb all over him and ride him out in the pasture and in the arena. He rides out on a loose rein and is laid back but responsive, he will walk quietly all day long if you prefer but will easily step into a trot or lope if asked. Raven gets along great with other horses, will ride out alone as well as with a group, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group while riding.
