All around athletic prospect. “Eel” is a buckskin stallion with a star, strip, snip and white on both hind feet.

Eel’s dam is one of our newer mares, Lethas Lena aka Lena. Her sire is Lethal Playgun who has earned more than $812,000. Lethal Playgun’s dam, Smart Letha, is Equistat #83 all-time leading dam and has paternal siblings with earnings in excess of over $9 million. Lethal Playgun was awarded his Performance ROM in 2005 and is a NDQHA Derby Money Earner. He is a proven producer of money earners in NCHA, NRHA, and NRCHA as well as AQHA point earners. He has also produced winners in barrel racing, roping, and open show events. He himself doesn’t have any earnings, but he did acquire some points in AQHA reining. The other names on “Lena’s” papers are just stacked with money earners!! Lena’s dam side is just as impressive and brings more of the older foundation bred athletes to her pedigree.

Eel’s sire is Walter O Rielly aka Radar. He has become a great addition to our program, and this is his 10th foal crop for us.Radar is a 90.234% foundation bred perlino stallion who goes to King P-234 ten times, to Driftwood four times with strong doses of Joe Reed, Three Bars and a little Doc Bar.

This is the first foal from this pairing. So far we are pleased with Eel and would expect him to mature out to be an athletic prospect for about anything.

Eligible for the Iowa Quarter Horse Association Ranch Horse Futurity.
