Stryker is a one of a kind gelding. Gentle, sweet and broke yet very powerful. This guy has been there and done that! He is a finished barrel horse that has been roped on and has run barrels and poles. He has a really good head on his shoulders yet has all the speed you could want. He was purchased by the current family for their 16 year old daughter who wanted to get into the high school rodeo yet didn’t have a ton of riding experience. She graduated from high school and is going to college to run track and cross country so he is being rehomed so he doesn’t sit around. He has been recently used in the branding pen with no issues being roped off of or dragging a calf to the fire. He is not spooky or jumpy, he has been used as a rope horse so he is quiet in the box. He has been used to tie goats off of a few times and was fine doing that. He has been used in the PRCA rodeo to carry a flag on the flag team. So they practiced weekly for about 3 months and then he was part of the grand entry and then she used him in the individual events with the flags. No spook or shying away. He is a real people pleaser.



Whether you want to ranch, rope, barrel race, or just have a nice solid trail horse you are sure to enjoy Stryker. He hauls and loads like a dream and is perfect for the shoer. Full vet check with X-rays was done when current owner purchased in 2021 and is available. Current owners have had no health issues. He is a nice easy gelding who is in the prime of his life! It is hard to find this combination of solid, safe and sane with this much athletic ability!
