Description:
Meet Bixby! A stunning 14.3-hand buckskin mare! Bixby has been around the block! From taking us up into the mountains safely to trucking around town and around crazy scenarios, she has never let us down! She is sure-footed, careful in the mountains on hard terrain and steep cliffs, and steady and calm in the town environment. She doesn’t mind semis, trains, bikes, dogs, etc!

This mare has also been worked extensively out on the ranch helping with brandings, checking fences, and pushing cattle, as well as being roped off of and doing local sortings! She tracks a cow nicely, has some get-up-and-go, and can easily run one down the fence or circle it.

She has done some Western pleasure riding and just fun riding with the kiddos and doesn’t mind a beginner or inexperienced rider at all, and she is a great babysitter!

As well as her extensive background in Western, we’ve started her English, which she loves! She’s easily jumping 2’6 courses in the arena and loves the cross-country course!

There’s not something this mare couldn’t do or wouldn’t enjoy; in everything we’ve done with her, she’s put her heart and mind into it and had fun on the way.

Loads, bathes, ties, and stands for the vet and farrier.
