Description:
Arctic Cositas aka "Coco" is a beautiful smoky palomino mare with incredible talent. She is for sale due to no fault of her own.



She is friendly and kind, no kick/rear/bite/run off etc., STOUT, and has been used on the ranch since she was first started as a filly, although her actual number of rides is probably around 45 spread out over the years. Every ride she has had has counted and they have been long days. She has a KILLER stop, spins like a top, and a beautiful western pleasure lope. She walks out and has a nice long trot and overall, she’s made to be a workin’ horse. She will rate and track a cow, hold a rope, and work gates. She gets pretty chocolatey in the summer time.



She has been used to gather and sort cows, brand, check fences, pack fencing materials and salt/mineral, logging deadfall off the mountains, and more.



Even though we love our Quarter Horses (we have cutting breeding stock), a lot of diehard AQHA folk have been ashamed when they saw this little powerhouse out work, out travel, and out perform their Quarters!



We bred her to Arctic Morgan’s "Bucksnort’s Windjammer" (registered # is: 162667) for a 2023 foal. She had a healthy palomino colt on June 8th, 2023. Colt has tons of color, bone, and FANTASTIC conformation. Photo from a few hours after birth.
