Princess Penelope is the pony every parent wishes they could come by as a first pony to grow their child’s love for horses. She is quiet, gentle, kind and so so sweet. This sweet pony is very special to us. She is one we can ALWAYS rely on in any circumstance. Princess Penelope acquired her name via our daughter Maycee. Since the day we brought her home that has been her name and we have treated her as a princess. Our daughter Maycee Jo keeps her main braided and keeps her as pampered as possible just like a little princess. Princess Penelope makes everything so fun and easy for Maycee Jo because she is so well mannered. Maycee Jo can do everything herself from catching her, leading her, grooming and bathing her, even saddling her if she’s feeling strong. When she rides her we don’t have to babysit her or worry. Princess Penelope always takes the very best care of her whether we are riding at home in the arena or on the ranch or are at an event, it’s all the same to her. She is the same pony and so very careful with her little rider no matter the circumstance. We have hauled her to youth ranch rodeos, barrel races and ropings. She has seen the world and is not shaken by anything. She leadlines, ponies from a big horse or rides alone all with equally well-mannered nature. Princess Penelope is extremely well mannered in all aspects. She is good for the farrier to trim, stands tied and trailers very well, is good to worm, wears a fly mask etc. Her ground manners are as good as they come no matter who is handling her. Even when her handler is tiny and inexperienced she is careful and is not pushy. She really is a little angel in every way. Whether you are looking for a first pony for your little cowboy or cowgirl, a perfect fit for your therapy or lesson program or even a stunning addition to your photography business or pony party business you will not be disappointed. Princess Penelope has been a blessing to our family along with many of our friends’ kids and we hope she can go on to bless someone else as she has us!
