Description:
7-year-old 16hh 1200-1300lb APHA/AQHA Bay Tobiano Gelding, only registered through APHA. “A Swingin Rolex” Tobias or Tobi as we call him is out of A Tru Rolex by a Jets Classy Otoe mare. Started on the barrels and team roping by very successful and well-known reputable trainers in our area, unfortunately got put on the back burner due to college. He is fairly lazy in the arena, perfect for kids to wander around on, as soon as he is working cows’ his energy level increases. He is big and heavy enough to break colts on, be a pick-up horse or to just pony the broke ones around, amazing long strides trail horse but prefers to be the leader. Can rope both ends off him but has been focusing on the heading side and would take very little time to finish out, also roped calves and tied goats off of. This gelding can go ALL DAY making him the perfect ranch horse for someone to ranch on during the day and load him up in the evening to go to a jackpot. In your pocket kind of guy with a sweet personality, first one to greet you in the field, jump on him bareback and go on your way. If he hasn’t been saddled in a year, no problem, saddle him up and continue on with your day with no issues. No buck, rear, bite, or spook. He does have quite a few scars from an encounter with a barbed wire fence when he was younger, no injuries but his hide and pride. Good for farrier, vet, bathes, trailers, etc. No bad habits other than weaving when stalled up. Updated on all vaccines, feet, teeth, coggins, etc. I am located in Northwest, OR and will be making a trip to Montana after the sale so I can personally deliver or meet up in a surrounding area for extra cost.
