Description:
Krogs Lone Time (Pepto) is a four-year-old grandson of One Time Pepto, with great-grandfather Peptoboonsmal on his papers. This gelding is a been-there-done-that kind of ranch horse. Pepto is gentle and easy to get along with. You can be moving fast or sorting a cow and as soon as that job is done he drops his head and just walks of calm and easy. I purchased Pepto as a yearling from the Louis Krogman family’s horse sale. Pepto was started using the Clinton Anderson method, which makes for a safe, respectable, soft mouthed horse. Pepto has been my go-to horse for ranch chores- roping, sorting during AI season, moving cows, pairing out, sorting bulls, and pushing cattle up the alley. Pepto is very cowy and really fun to sort on. He has drug hundreds of calves to the fire. He is flag broke, hobble broke, roped and loaded bulls in the trailer, roped and doctored calves, opens wire gates, and opens/closes corral gates. Pepto moves off leg pressure, has a nice head set, and a soft mouth. Many wet saddle blankets prove that Pepto definitely knows what a hard days work is. He doesn’t have any bad habits and gets along well with the other horses. Pepto has a strong foundation and his whole life ahead of him. Ready to go any direction you want to take him, or keep ranching on him. He is a pleasure to ride. I am only selling him because I have other colts coming up to break.
