Description:
Shrekratariat "Shrek" is a gentle natured, well-rounded gelding with endless potential. Shrek has experience with ranching, branding, roping and trail riding. He is quiet and composed on trails and in the arena. Due to his long stride, Shrek may not be the best fit for upper-level roping, however, he has proven to be excellent in the roping pen and eager to learn more. We feel he also would suit someone looking for a solid ranch horse and/or make a ’pick-up horse’ in the rodeo arena.



With is youthful age, he also shows great potential for the hunter or dressage ring. Shrek has three bold, beautiful gaits that are bound to get the judges attention.



Shrek is quiet to be trimmed but has only been shod a few times, therefore he prefers a farrier that will take their time and patience with him while shoeing. He has an old, shallow scar on the outside wall of his right front hoof that does not affect his soundness. Photos available for referece.



*Loads and hauls well.

*Intermediate rider recommended.

*Gets along with mares and geldings in pasture. Not the alpha male.
