Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual for long term employment at our families Guest Ranch in Arizona. We are located about 1 hour southeast of Tucson AZ. The ranch is a small 800 deeded acre horse ranch with Air BNB’s year round and guided trail rides seasonally. The ranch also houses the families dude horses and AQHA breeding program. Ranch manager responsibilities include feeding, doctoring and watering the livestock. Riding pasture to check on horses and fence. Ranch maintenance for Air BNB cabins and animal facilities. Giving guided tours and hiring and supervising additional guides during the Tour season. Managing and scheduling house keeping for the cabins and occasionally turning over a cabin in the event house keeping services do not show. During off season working with colts, halter breaking and some ground work. Ranch is located close to town and position comes with housing and board for two horses that can live in a group pen situation. This position requires a person who is self motivated and can accomplish tasks without being supervised as the family is not in town all the time. Salary starts at $2000 per month includes housing, utilities and board for two horses as well as tips on guided tours. Additional income opportunities available to the right person.
