A solid mount that sports plenty of foot and bone with a bulldog-style conformation measuring just as wide as he is tall. Sarge has a beautiful white color with a medicine hat head. He has a lot of eye appeal, and boy can he cover country and go all day. He has a nice ground covering long trot across the pasture. Sarge is a trail riders dream. He will cross whatever you come to – water, bridges, deadfall – and doesn’t shy at anything – wildlife or highway traffic etc. He goes through rocky and rough mountain terrain, running river water, and knee deep mud. He side passes to open and shut all gates, smoothly goes over logs and bridges, and will drag whatever you dally to. He does really well in the branding pen and seems to enjoy getting you up to heel calves. We have taken him to a local sorting series where we broke the series record a few times. He’s done everything on the ranch and been to town to team rope and sort. He backs into the box great. Stands to saddle and mount, loads and unloads in the trailer perfectly. When it comes to shoeing, he worms around and leans on you, but he’s not ornery about it. Sarge has been one of our main mounts for any kind of day. He is best suited for an intermediate rider.
