Description:
Are you hard working and enjoy the western way of life that farming and ranching has to offer? Do you have experience in the saddle, running cow/calf pairs, and operating a tractor for harvesting small grains and putting up hay? We are currently seeking a full-time and long-term Farm Ranch Hand to join our team in western North Dakota. As a Farm Ranch Hand, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day responsibilities on our large operation, from working cattle to assisting with small grain farming.



Responsibilities include:

Assisting with our cow/calf operation: calving, feeding, sorting & gathering, doctoring, and other maintenance and general care of cattle.

Fixing fence and other structures required for our cow herd.

Operating a large variety of top of the line machinery including haying equipment, loaders, skid steers, TMR mixer wagon, pay loader, tele handler, air seeder, grain cart, combine, and trucks.

Assisting with the farming operation: planting, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting small grains including durum, wheat, canola, corn, soybeans, and various forage crops.

Providing general maintenance, oil changes, and repairs on pickups, tractors and other equipment.



Requirements:

Previous experience operating machinery on a farm and ranch

A strong work ethic and positive attitude

Valid drivers license

Willingness to work extended hours during the calving and harvesting season

Ability to perform physical tasks and endure the cold ND winters



We offer competitive compensation, including hourly wages and potential bonuses. We provide housing, transportation, and beef for your freezer.



We use our horses. We gather, sort, brand, and doctor our cattle from the back of a horse. Riding and roping experience is preferred. We can accommodate your horses and outdoor ranch dogs.
