Description:
Meet Tuxedo! If unique, safe, and trained are on your list you need to take a look at Tux’s lengthy resume! This cool dude has been with our family for a very long time and stands 13.3 hands tall. He can do a full reining pattern, work on a cow, drives single, good to heel on, rides English, and even knows tricks like laying down on cue! Our 6 year old daughter Saylor has claimed Tux as her main mount! She rides him through the canyons and the river, or even to the soda shop after a pop and candy! He crosses water and obstacles with ease and handles time off perfectly! He is a picture of safety and fun. He is also super easy to drive. Both of our kids have enjoyed hooking Tux to the cart and driving him through town with grandpa!

Tux is Saylor’s favorite ride at the weekend horse shows as well. He lopes nice and slow on a long draped rein, has a smooth lead change and fun spins. Tux can do anything dads big horse can. He side passes both ways and will even ride without a bridle! His neck rein is very light and he stops immediately on a whoa, making him a great mount for a beginner child! We’ve used him for all the ranch chores such as shipping, doctoring, dragging calves, and gathering. Tux works a cow well and is great to sort on.

Kyler and Saylor have both roped some slow calves on Tux with a breakaway, he tracks great and gives them a shot EVERY time. Tux has also been heeled on. He is solid in the box, makes a great corner, and stays honest. Saylor has taken him through the barrel and pole patterns as well. Tux is mindful of the little ones space and will patiently stand there for them to brush, saddle, and bathe him. They can catch him anywhere, slip his halter on, crawl on, and go for a joy ride. Tux has a huge personality and an even bigger heart! He is extremely patient and forgiving, and has been a wonderful friend to our kids and taught them so much!
