One of our more prominent feeding programs is centered around Country Natural Beef (CNB) and their pasture centered program. CNB, which was founded in Oregon, now expands across the greater Pacific Northwest, and has contracted Beef NW and John Wilson to act as the managing entity of their cattle supply chain from ranch to processor. This management encompasses a wide array of duties, not limited to, rancher certifications, cattle placements into finishing facilities and growyards, communicating throughout the year with CNB member ranchers, coordinating with procurement on purchasing cattle for supply line, inspecting cattle at various feeding operations, and more. Skills: Basic computer experience in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.) Basic accounting knowledge with high attention to accuracy Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but maybe substituted with work experience Delivering and receiving information clearly and concisely Personable Able to work as part of a team Organized Duties: This position entails but not limited to the following duties: Cattle inventory management Coordination of natural cattle supply into various feedyards and grower facilities Manage inventory tracking of natural cattle supply at various non-BNW locations Build, analyze and manage various production reports Receiving and compiling information into various filing structures Online databases and storage Paperless office storage Manage overall certification and “chain of custody” for natural cattle supply Participate in weekly conference calls and attend various events throughout the year. Assist various partners including WCC, BNW, BNLS and other CNB management team members with various reporting, information needs, etc. as requested and needed. Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree in business and/or accounting preferred but may be substituted by experience. General Knowledge of ranch and feedlot operations Travel: Occasional Travel required Work Schedule: Full Time Monday – Friday Compensation: Excellent total compensation program including: Competitive Salary, Family Health, Dental & Vision Insurance: Annual Incentive Bonus Program, Paid Vacation, and 401k Program.
