Description:
North-Eastern NM cow/calf operation seeking long-term full-time ranch hand. We are Looking for a quality person to work a 55,000-acre absentee-owned ranch, this is not a management position or a strictly cowboying job but riding is required, and all cow work is done horseback. Cow/calf experience, the ability to operate equipment, with experience in welding/metal fab is preferred. Duties include feeding and doctoring cattle, moving cattle, calving, fencing, well maintenance, assisting in ranch infrastructure projects, managing the landscape at the HQ, hauling water, and other ranch tasks as necessary and assigned. 2-bedroom house and utilities with internet provided as well as 1/2 beef/yr, 1/2 hog/yr, and eggs. A ranch vehicle and saddle horses are provided.

A health insurance stipend and 1 week of paid vacation are offered after 6 months of employment.



Salary DOE.



A positive can-do mentality is required.



Must have references and be able to pass pre-employment background ck. No smoking in house or ranch vehicles.
