Meet this big, handsome fella we call Chili Dog!

Chili Dog is a 2018 Registered AQHA and NRHA 15.1 hand, beautifully built, bay gelding that weighs 1,200 lbs and is as trained and versatile as they come!

Offed by MaryBeth Raber of Diamond K, Chili Dog is a one of a kind, beautiful, finished, trained in the arena or outside riding down the trails, type of gelding.

From the show pen to the ranch to the trails, he’s ready to go. He’s the kind of horse you go rope on one day, show the next and hop on and go for a fun, peaceful trail ride the next day! We have taken Chili Dog through our program and he has passed everything we throw at him with flying colors!

We are excited to offer this well built, well bred and fancy mover as well as just a beautiful dark bay color that is hard to find, to you at the 2023 Cowgirl Cadillacs Sale in Sheridan Wyoming.

Chili Dog is very fun and very willing. He is finished in the arena and knows all his Reining maneuvers like spins, sliding stops , lead changes, speed transitions, and does it so smooth and quietly, and so collected. Chili Dog is also a finished show horse in the Ranch Riding show pen! He has a great extended trot and a perfect transition back to a slow trot. He has a good side pass and one hand neck rein. He is great around other horse while riding in a ranch class and is so smooth and easy to ride through a pattern class.

From the show pen to the trails Chili Dog is excellent outside around the farm and all the commotion that goes on as well as riding down the trails alone or in a group setting. Chili Dog is easy to load and hauls well , he is good in new places and new environments. He’s the kind of horse you unload, saddle and go ride anywhere you wanna go. He also will side pass to a mounting block for you to mount and stands quietly while being mounted.

He is good to clip, bathe, shoe, saddle etc. Chili Dog is up to date on all his shots and vaccines as well as having current X Rays on file for you to see. He even sells with our Diamond K Guarantee! He is 100% sound with no vices. Chili Dog is that one of a kind, very versatile and solid minded, well rounded, well built, well bred kinda horse. His walk, trot and canter is very smooth and so easy to ride.

Chili Dog is very very well bred. He is an own son of NOT RUFF AT ALL who goes back to A SPANKING VINTAGE and SHINNING SPARK as well as LITTLE RUFF PEPPY. That’s all just on his top side !!! On his bottom side he is out of SHES WOUND UP who goes back to SKEETS PEPPY and PEPPY SAN BADGER ! So Chili Dog has got it all!
