Description:
River Play is Ranching Heritage Bred and wears a size 1 shoe. Butters has been shown in Versatility Ranch Horse competitions and won the ranching heritage challenge Limited Working Cow Horse at the NILE show last fall. He has points on Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail and Cow Work with limited showing and is qualifying for the AQHA VRH show and RHC World Finals this year.

This winter we have been skijoring, and he has made it to the pay window every time and on his second time out, we won a buckle.

He is the kind of horse that you can grab out of the pen, saddle up and ride off with no drama and he will adjust to any pace. He has been ridden on trails and in town and hauled all over Montana. He even found his way inside Willie’s Distillery on Halloween. He stays quiet and calm in new environments and travels very well. Great to shoe, easy to load, and will stand tied all day.

Butters would excel in a show environment, as a trail horse, a fancy ranch horse, or a best friend for a kid. He’s the kind of horse everyone needs but very few have.
