"WOW!" is the only way to describe PEPTOS RED ACE aka Ace... a gelding with all the chrome, a full tail that drags the ground and mane past his shoulder who comes with the training, breeding, real life experience and the personality everyone is looking for! Ace is everything you could dream of wrapped up in one flawless package.

Ace is trained both in the arena and outside. He has not only served his purpose as a full time ranch hand and an excellent asset but he has been shown in the ranch riding, ranch trail and versatility classes as well. He has a fancy handle and knows all the buttons including a very slow and smooth jog to fit pleasure riders, or extend him to cover ground checking fence or cattle. He has a rocking horse lope, lead departures and changes, a flawless headset that carries low to the ground, soft turn arounds and he will whoa without any hesitation. Ace would also be an outstanding cowboy dressage mount!

Ace has been my personal go-too horse for sometime now and has never refused a task. I have used him in all aspects of ranch work from tying off on him outside doctoring calves, to branding hundreds at the ranch. He has been hauled to tons of different operations and is no stranger to a hard days work. He remains the same gentle, willing and kind gentleman in every new place he arrives at. Ace has no issues putting his head down and going to work.

Absolutely any level rider can operate this gelding in the branding pen and enjoy him. The smoke, ropes, people running, throwing of calves and all the chaos does not phase him one bit. With all of the time spent gathering cattle in steep terrain and in the forest, Ace is a proven trail horse and does not bock over anything including crossing water, logs, traffic, bikes or wildlife. He has seen it all.

Ace has been through ALL of the cowboy challenge obstacles, and has been hauled to a handful of trail course challenges! He is not spooky AT ALL, and is desensitized to tarps, flags, slickers, ground poles, bridges and so much more.

The epitome of GENTLE and takes time off great; saddle him after a month off and get right on, he hasn’t missed a beat. Safe and suitable for absolutely any level rider, any age. I have given lessons on him and he has taught 12 year old girls how to change leads, stop, and lope perfect circles. He is fun and trust worthy, let your kids climb on bareback and relax while they ride across the pasture.

We have also breakaway roped on Ace and spun several steers, he is great to heel on as well. He has lots of time roping the sled with beginner ropers aboard him.

This gelding is all things great and is loving to boot, he is the first to meet you at the gate, although not pushy at all. Ace gets along great with other horses, he is good both in a stall and pastured, loads in any style trailer and has been hauled extensively, he is great to saddle, ties all day, stands for farrier and is up to date on everything. He has been under the best care and it shows; not a single blemish on him.
