She’s been up in the high country with the mules, guiding from first to fourth season in all weather. She’s doctored cattle in the pasture, with our kids as well as my husband and I. She has been used to rope and load wild yearling steers that were missed during shipping, and taken care of our kids at plenty of brandings in the spring. She’s always up for the young ones’ grooming parties and play days, and is easily our favorite “go-to” horse for visiting family of all levels. Charlotte’s sweet nature is appreciated by everyone from the farrier and vet to our own littlest ones, who frequently throw on a halter and ride her bareback all over the place.
