Jolene is 16.5 hands tall and wears a size 1 shoe. This mare has been used on the ranch, drug calves to the fire, has been used with heading and heeling, ponied colts around, has been packed on and is hobble broke. Jolene will leave other horses, trailer and barn quietly, she is not sour. This mare would be suitable for going all day as she is a tough horse to cover a lot of country. Jolene will open and close gates, side passes and reins like a dream. This mare is respectful on ground, and knows ground work. Jolene requires an experienced rider and a year round consistent job, she does not handle time off well.
