Description:
She is a fabulous chore dog. She is a pretty independent worker. If you tell her to bring them she will have to stock to you at the gate. She can maneuver stock through a maze of pens with minimal instruction. She bites both ends and an occasional front foot. She has an exceptionally clean bite and a nice low heel bite that she has passed onto her pups. She is a very thoughtful worker who gives the stock a chance to move before she bites. She naturally cleans the corner in the working pens. I have used her to pen and sort weanlings by myself. She has been used to dog break really sticky yearlings and very flighty sheep. She adjusts her bite for sheep and bottle calves. She is not a pair dog, but has been used some on dry cows. She walks in my footsteps and is the best buddy. She will ride on anything as long as she gets to be with you. She is great with kids and cats. She is good in the house or in the yard as she has a great off switch. I have trialed her a little in novice, but she is more fun to do chores with and to let her figure things out rather than taking constant direction. I am looking for the right home for her where she could be a worker and a companion. Preferably a one dog or limited dog home. She plays with my younger females but is a grouch to my other dogs. She is well broke and is the kind of dog that won’t blow up a situation. You can count on her to have your back.
