Description:
Immediate opening for a full-time cowboy/ranch hand position. We are a family operation owned by a well known horseman and clinician. We are located in western Utah, just 25 minutes west of Salt Lake City. We are looking for those who love the equine industry, ranching lifestyle and want to make a career here. We raise and run a large registered Quarter Horse herd as well as a commercial cow /calf operation. Our range consists of a lot of steep mountain terrain. We want someone who is family oriented and is looking to make their long term home here and isn’t afraid to “Ride for the Brand” as they say.

MUST have the knowledge & confidence to ride young horses on the ranch while checking, doctoring, moving cattle, etc. No ATV’s used. Must have a strong desire to gain more knowledge and horsemanship. We head and heel to brand, and 99% of the cow work is horseback. Low stress cattle handling techniques preferred. Must be able to move rotational electric fence part of the year, fence repair and maintenance when needed. Must have valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record and be able to drive manual trans ranch truck with gooseneck trailers for work. Haul & check water and break ice. MUST be able to rope. Farrier skills a huge plus. Other duties as assigned. No haying or farming. For the sake of both of us, please be honest about your abilities. If you’re incapable of doing this job, DO NOT apply. If you won’t/can’t ride young and green horses and accomplish the job DO NOT apply. We need a real Cowboy/Horseman…not DREAMERS!





We are looking for someone that isn’t afraid of long hours and working 5-6 days a week most of the year must be honest, trustworthy, hardworking, positive attitude, must be able to work well alone or with others. Owner travels often doing clinics, so we need someone who is a self starter and is able to get the job done and keep the ranch running smoothly when we are out of town. Ability to communicate with the ranch owners and other employees clearly and with respect is essential. Will do a background check. No Drugs or Alcohol abuse. Non-Smoker

Wage DOE and abilities.

We have a large, 3 bed room apartment , suitable for a small family. It is located inside of our indoor riding arena. Utilities paid. We are located in a growing community, close to very good schools and town. Also a possibility of running some of your own cattle or horses.
