JOB SUMMARY

Mule Packers will provide safe and efficient packing of mules and supplies. Duties include preparing packs for delivery from the Rim to Phantom Ranch and back, packing for hikers and boat parties, feed and water mules, maintain cleanliness/orderliness of the barn and corral, and other duties as assigned.



THE DETAILS

Wage: $16.55 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Housing: Shared, dormitory-style housing is available

QUALIFICATIONS

Three years of experience handling horses or mules, and proven equestrian skills.

Must have own saddle and tack.

Ability to learn two-way radio communication equipment.

Ability to work non-traditional work hours.

Ability to safely lift 100 pounds on a regular basis.
