George is a 16 hand Deluxe ranch horse. He has done all phases of ranch work. I have owned him for 10 years and am the second owner of this horse. He came off a working cattle ranch. I have used him in 100s of ranch rodeos around the state of ND. Team penning - ranch sorting. He will absolutely do anything for you.. he is a little

Big for the sorting pen but he gets the job done and is fun and smooth as they come. My son as a 10 year old did barrels on him for fun. If you can sit a horse you can ride George. He gets along with anyone. Easy to catch meet you at the gate when he is out in the pasture. You can rope anything and he will pull it. From cows bulls - sleds to hides to bags. He has 4 black feet. You can walk down a gravel road no problem. I do put shoes on him if we go to medora or the black hills which he has been to on numerious occasions. Tons of overnight camping trips.. many many trail rides.. rides double, bareback carry’s saddle bags.. carry’s a flag in parades. I have had him sharp shoed when we had a feedlot for icy conditions. Stands great for the farrier will Load in any kind of trailer. There is so many things I can say about this guy.. he is very hard to part with but I have young ones I need to work with and if he is here I won’t do that as much as I need to..

he does have one quirk - he does not like his ears touched. To bridle him he opens his mouth for you and I have a buckle head stall so it’s not a big deal to me. He had athletes foot in his ear years ago and ever since then he has not liked his ears touched it was very painful and the treatment for it was not fun. He also has a big scare on his chest. Does not bother him at all. Just have to make sure the breast collar does not rub on it. He got attacked by a mountain lion when he was 2 years old. So it’s something that he has had basically his whole life. You can see it in the pictures. I know I am missing things to say about this guy.. he is 100 percent sound. UTD on all shots and worming.
